David "Dave" D. Beck

David “Dave” D. Beck, 77, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024. He was born in Barberton on December 30, 1946 and was a graduate of Barberton High School, Class of 1965. Dave was a U.S. Army veteran during the Vietnam Era. He was a diesel mechanic by trade. David loved hunting and fishing and anything outdoors. Preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Dorothy Beck; siblings, Sandra Kellar, Pete Jr. and Paul Beck.  Survived by his son, Matthew Beck; close friend, Gena Powers; sister, Donna Menendez; his cousin and hunting buddy, Eric Croft; along with nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. Dave’s funeral service will be held Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 7 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton with Rev. Rod Grabski officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the time of his service.
