Deborah “Debbie” Biggs Bennett, 73, passed away at home on Saturday, February 10, 2024, with her family near. A lifetime “Barbertonian”, Debbie was born on November 11, 1950. She was a proud Class of 1969 graduate of Barberton High School. The family requested a special shout-out to the many classmates with whom she shared friendships. She and “O,” as she affectionately called him, raised daughter, Stacey and sons, Cole and Nick on the eastside of Barberton. Her family was her greatest treasure. She loved LARGE! Debbie endured heartache after the loss of both sons, Cole and Nick Bennett and husband, Othel. She also was preceded in death by her father, Charles Biggs, mother Gertrude and beloved stepfather, Paul Freeman. Left behind to miss her greatly are her daughter, Stacey and son-in-law, Jim Harshbarger; grandchildren, Dana (Travon) Ambrose, Griffin (Alanna), Madi and Trevin Harshbarger, Makayla Foster, Payton, Cole II, and Bella Bennett; five great grandchildren, extended family, and many friends.
