Delores "Dee" M. Welch

Delores “Dee” M. Welch, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 21, 2021. She was a life resident of Barberton.  Dee retired from Barberton City Schools and was a member of Community Gospel Tabernacle. Preceded in death by her husband, Eugene and daughter, Sherry Schake, Dee is survived by her daughters, Diane (John) Konecny and Marie Welch; sons, John (Sharon) Welch, Ronald (Debra) Welch and Gerald “Jug” Welch; ten grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; special friend, Shari Stewart; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Pleasant View Heath Care Center for all the kindness, love and support they gave to Dee and her family during her stay. Dee’s funeral service will be held Friday, August 27th at 11 a.m. at Community Gospel Tabernacle, 181 E. State Street, Barberton 44203 with Pastor Warren Lowery officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203.
