Dewey F. Parks, 86, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024. He was born December 26, 1937 in Murray, Kentucky and was a resident of Akron for 10 years. Dewey was an Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War. He retired as a truck driver after 50 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Karen; daughter, Martha; sons, Danny, Gary and Frederick; stepsons, Jerry, Adam and David; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dewey’s memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 7 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 with Rev. Fred Webb officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until time of his service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to, Wounded Warrior Project.
