Obituary
Dolly D. Rickenbacker, 78, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023. She was born March 12, 1944 and was a life resident of the Barberton area. She worked many years for J.C. Penney’s and retired from Ace Brothers Plumbing. Dolly was a long time member of the Riverside Alliance Church in Akron. Preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Thelma Duxbury; sons, Dale and David Rickenbacker and sister, Beverly Ankrim. Dolly is survived by her children, Eddie Rickenbacker (Tara) and Christina Westover; grandchildren, Jason, Emily, Abigail, Logan, Trevor, Trent, Cole and Ashton. Dolly’s funeral service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023 at 3 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 with Pastor Dustin VanHoose officiating.The family will receive friends and family from 1 p.m. until the time of her service. Private burial will take place at a later date.
