Donald Louis Morgan, age 79, of Clinton, Ohio passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024 surrounded by his family. Don was born August 28th, 1944 in Despart (Clarksburg), West Virginia. Don moved to Akron, Ohio in 1958 and attended West Junior High and South High School, where he graduated in 1963. He married schoolmate Joyce Sammons in 1963 and later divorced in 1972.They had two daughters, Michelle and Misty. Don remarried his beloved wife, Vivian, in August 1973. They had daughter Dawn and two stepsons Drake and Doug Dudnikoff. Don worked several jobs, but in 1965, he was hired at Goodyear Rim plant as a production worker later advancing to shift foreman. The plant changed hands several times over the years, but in September 1999, Don took early retirement because of poor health with 34 years’ service.He had a love for cars. He was president of the Ohio Regional Studebaker club for many years and Regional Manager in the State of Ohio. He was the founder of the “Winks Rally” and broke attendance records for years. He also co-hosted the talk show “Classic American Wheels” on WNIR Radio and had many guest appearances on the “Handy Randy TV Show.” Don and his Studebaker were also in a movie, “Lake Evermore”, that can be viewed on You Tube. Nothing meant more to Don than the time he spent with his family and attending his grandchildren’s events. He also loved to camp and fish in his younger days. He would do anything to help someone. He had the biggest heart and anyone that knew him loved his sense of humor and gentle spirit. Preceded in death by Grandmother Mary C. (Knox) Fulton, Mother Ruth E. (Fulton) Morgan, Father Robert E. Morgan, Biological Father Dominick Fratt, infant Brother Dominick Fratt Jr. He is survived by, and will be dearly missed, the love of his life Vivian C. (Lesar) Morgan. Married 50 years and 9 months. Children, Michelle Wickenheiser of Orlando Fl.; Misty (Marty) Villers of Norton; Drake (Susan) Dudnikoff of Jackson; Doug Dudnikoff of Barberton; Dawn (Matt) Wilhelm of North Lawrence; 9 Grandchildren, Alexa Mary Noriea; Danielle Dudnikoff both of Canal Fulton; Brandon Wickenheiser; Carli Wickenheiser both of Orlando Fl; Madison Villers; Peyton Villers; Katlyn Villers all of Norton; Zac Wilhelm and Gwen Wilhelm both of North Lawrence ; 4 Great Grandchildren, Jayden Wickenheiser of Virginia; Mia Wickenheiser; Myra Wickenheiser both of Orlando FL; Wolfgang Dudnikoff Marner of Canal Fulton; Brother John (Ruby) Fratt of Bridgeport, WV; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends from all over. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten. Don’s funeral service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 12 Noon at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton, Ohio 44203 with Jason Boyer officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 5 to 7 p.m. and also one hour prior to his service on Friday. Entombment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
