Edward “Ed” Robert Auerbach, 81, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 4, 1942. Ed is survived by his wife Jean; son Mark; daughter-in-law Dawn; three grandchildren, Eleana, Robert and Justin; stepdaughters, Missy, Theresa and Lisa; stepson, Marty and their children and grandchildren. Ed spent most of his career in education, working as a recruiter for various colleges. He was passionate about helping students achieve their dreams and was highly respected by his colleagues and students alike. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling, trying new foods and spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid gambler and lived life to the fullest. He considered himself to be an amateur comedian and always had a joke ready for every occasion. He was especially proud of his son’s amazing voice and loved to brag about his talent. Ed will be remembered for his over-the-top personality, storytelling abilities and living life to the fullest. He will be missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace. Following Ed’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
