Edward "Ed" E. Fox Sr.

Edward “Ed” E. Fox Sr., 85, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 13, 2022. He was a resident of Barberton for most of his life and retired from B.F. Goodrich.  Ed loved racing his “56 Chevy” at Magnolia Drag Strip and Dragway 42. Preceded in death by sister, Margaret; brothers, Robert, Charles “Red” and Donnie.  Ed is survived by his wife of 62 years, Catherine; son, Eddie Fox Jr.; daughter, Christine Fox; granddaughter, Sara Fox; along with other relatives and friends. Ed’s family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203. Where his funeral service will be on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Erik Swanson officiating. Burial to follow at Lakewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Barberton, 249 Second Street, N.W., Barberton, Ohio 44203.
