Ella Irene Whytsell

Ella Irene Whytsell, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 22, 2023. She was a resident of Doylestown for 34 years moving to Canal Fulton 16 years ago. Irene moved to Canton Christian Home five years ago. She was a member of the Legacy Christian Church of Clinton and enjoyed singing solos at church. Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Clyde W. Whytsell; parents, Lewis and Mildred Murphy; brothers, Russell Lewis, Ronald Eugene, and Richard Allen Murphy and daughter-in-law, Nancy Whytsell.  Irene is survived by her sons, Earnest Dewayne, David Allen (Cheryl) and Jeffery Scott (Lois) Whytsell; granddaughter, Madeline Whytsell; sister, Brenda Murphy Cholak; along with numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Irene’s funeral service will be held Friday, October 27, 2023 at 2 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton, Ohio 44203 with Ken Muller officiating. Burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of her service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Canton Christian Home.
