Emma Lee (Long) Gibson

My beloved Mother, grandmother, Nana, sister, Aunt and friend went to be with the Lord. Emma Lee (Long) Gibson, 92 of Barberton, Ohio passed Thursday 4/14/22 at Akron General Hospital. She was born 2/19/30 to Albert and Fannie (Rosenbaum) Long. We all will miss her terribly but she will suffer no more. She was a wonderful mother and Grandmother, kind, gentle and loving. Her greatest love was for her family. She has missed her deceased husband Carl terribly, for they had a love for each other that stories are written about. Preceded in death were her parents Albert and Fannie (Rosenbaum) Long. Husband; Carl R. Gibson. Son; Carl R. Gibson (Sonny) sisters and brothers; Albert (Ollie), Frederick (Vella), Eileen (Amos) Hampton, Anna Mae (Russell) Bosko, Marie (James) Long. She leaves behind; Her daughter; Sandra (Richard) Remmy, Grandchildren; Brandy (Victor) Quinones, Kody Remmy, Trystan Remmy; Aubrey (Remmy) Caldwell, Great Grandchildren; Samuel and Brody Quinones; Landon, Rylee, Ronan and Nixon Remmy, Carlee, Mason, Keegan, Nikola Caldwell. Sister Hilda Robinson and Juanita (Clayton) Brantley. Many nieces and nephews. She was loved by all. She has been a long time member of Johnson United Methodist where she volunteered and was a Ruth Circle member. She worked at McNeil floral supply for many years, she loved flowers and seeing them bloom in her yard in Spring and Summer. Being with her many Grandchildren was one of her greatest joys. A special thank you to Anthony Posta, Devon and Barberton Adult Day Center for their kindness. In lieu of flowers you may make a donation to Johnson United Methodist Church, 3409 Johnson Rd, Norton Ohio. Calling hours will be held Wednesday April 20th 6pm-8pm and Service to be held Thursday April 21st at 1pm. Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W.
