Obituary

Jean, 92, peacefully passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023. She was born in Bayonne, New Jersey on April 8, 1931 to the late William and Anna Jurechko. Preceded in death by her husband, Paul; son, Michael and brother, Tom. Left behind to cherish her memories are daughter, Debbie Reese (Mike) granddaughter, Kalee Robinson (Scott) great-granddaughter, Lilyana Robinson; grandsons, Nick and Jon; sister, Rose Bakita; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Mom was a beautiful soul. She worked for Barberton Schools for 20 plus years, pleasantly known as “The Lunch Lady”. She was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church where she enjoyed volunteering her time in the kitchen baking nut rolls, helping with the fish fries, she was always happy to lend a hand with others. There will be no services. Cremation has taken place. Jean will be laid to rest with her husband Paul at St. Nicholas Cemetery. Donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice in Jean’s name.
