Ethel G. McKeown

Ethel G. McKeown, 101, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 19, 2024. She was born in Bablin, West Virginia on March 24, 1923 to the late Fred and Sarah Boggs. Ethel was a resident of Barberton for 70 years and retired from Yoder Brothers with 18 years of service. She was a member of Barberton Evangelical Friends Church for 59 years and volunteered at area food pantries for many years.Preceded in death by her husband, Herbert. Ethel is survived by her sons, Terry, Donney (Emily Koch) and Ricky McKeown; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  Ethel’s funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton with Pastor Brian Cowan officiating.  Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 23, 2024 for 6 to 8 p.m.
