Gary R. Quinn, 73, was reunited with the love of his life, wife, Janet Quinn on Thursday, April 15, 2021. Hand and hand they are walking the shores of Heaven. Gary was a longtime resident of Barberton and graduated from Lehman High, Class of 1967. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1974 and retired from Summit County in 2004. Also preceded in death by his parents, Thomas B. and Martha Quinn; brothers, Danny and Donald; sisters, Darlene Quinn, Marian Canterbury, Nancy Roberts and Carol Hersch. Gary was an amazing Dad to his daughter, Kim and her husband, Brian and also an amazing grandpa to his grandchildren, Quinn Marie, Jesse (Jessica), B.J. and Andrew and one great-granddaughter, Sadie. He was a dear brother to Pat Riffle of Arizona, son, Bryan and his family of Wooster; many nieces, nephews and his good neighbors and friends. Gary will be deeply missed, but will never be forgotten. To live in the hearts of those you leave behind. One never dies. “Shine On” my precious Dad. A graveside service was held for Gary at Clinton Cemetery, where he was laid to rest peacefully beside his wife, Janet. Pastor Jim Davis and Rev. Scott Alexander officiated.
