Gene E. Howe

Gene E. Howe, 93, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Gene retired from the Ohio Brass after 35 years of service. Preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Helen; brother, Jack Howe and sister, Carol White. Gene is survived by his children, Tim Howe (Mercedes), Greg (Geri) Howe and Tina Howe; grandson, David Howe; granddaughters, Tiffany and Wendy Howe; brother, Bob (Betty) Howe; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Gene’s funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 12 Noon at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203. Burial to follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
