Born December 24, 1945, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024. From Norton Ohio. George was a son, husband, father grandfather and great grandfather. He took great pride in and loved mowing his lawn, growing the biggest tomatoes and pears you ever saw and catching a nap on the porch. George was a lifelong Browns fan. During football season you could always hear him chanting “Here We Go Brownies… Here We Go”. Even when they were losing. He liked fishing and telling silly grandpa jokes. George probably saw every western movie ever made at least a hundred times and leaves behind his remote control to his loving wife of 48 years, Grace. Who can now watch whatever crime show she wants. Also sadden by his passing and will miss his crazy jokes, unsolicited advice and never have to say pork and beans without smiling again are his hoodlum children Janice, Gary, Becky, Doug, and Marsha as well as his little brother, Jim. Enjoying his presence in the afterlife are his mom, Rose, dad, George Jr., sister, Cheryl and son, Tim. Although we are sure he is with a-lot more family than that, enjoying a glass of iced tea, some fried chicken, and sweets. Per his request there will be no services. Condolences to his surviving family can be sent to Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home – Barberton Ohio - (330) 745-3161 https://www.campfield-hickman-collier.com/
