Gerald R. Sherbourne

Gerald R. Sherbourne, 91, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2026. A resident of Barberton for 67 years, he was employed by Ohio Brass and retired from Gempco.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Opal Sherbourne; siblings, Dean Sherbourne, Ethel Robinson, Majorie Jones, and Donna Quimby; and his wife of 67 years, Dolores “Dee” Sherbourne.

Gerald is survived by sons, Joe (Debbie) Lesar and Keith (Janet) Sherbourne; grandchildren, Adam, Liberty, and Logan Lesar, Maranda (Justin) Benner, and Zachary Sherbourne; great-grandchildren, Mallory and Morgan Benner and Giavanna Sherbourne; along with other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 10:30 with Pastor Rod Grabski officiating. Burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203.
