Gerald "Jerry" Ray McKinney

Gerald “Jerry” Ray McKinney, 80, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025. He was born in Akron, Ohio on October 30, 1944 and was a resident of Barberton for 28 years. Jerry was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in the Vietnam Era. Preceded in death by his parents, Darwin and Gladys McKinney. Jerry is survived by his wife of 26 years, Laura; children, Lisa (Greg) Karson, Tammy (Todd) Onusic, Tonya (Brad) Tuomi and Maria Bieri; several grandchildren; brothers, Ronald (Lou Ann) McKinney and Dennis (Diana) McKinney; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.     Jerry’s funeral service will be held Thursday, January 23, 2024 at 1 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton, Ohio 44203. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Jerry’s family will receive friends on Thursday from 12 Noon until time of his service.
