Glenn A. Rummer, 85, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 9, 2024. He was a life resident of Norton and was a graduate of Norton High School.Glenn retired from Bridgestone after 45 years of service and was a member of Grace Church, Norton Campus. Glenn enjoyed golfing, bowling and watching all Ohio sports teams. He truly loved spending time with his family. He was a good husband and father and loved spending time with his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Larry, Bobby and Karen. Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Bonnie; children, Tammy (Robert) McAdoo, Jeff (Melissa), Laura Sue (Jeff ) Hancock, Paul Rummer and Elizabeth (Rusty) Fern; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Jimmy (Karen) Rummer; brother-in-law, Russ Mercer; sister-in-law, Kathy Rummer; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Glenn’s family will receive friends on Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203. His funeral service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Robert Combs officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
