Harold L. Smith Jr.

Harold L. Smith Jr., 84, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. He was born in Akron on November 4, 1938 and was a resident of Doylestown since 1995. Harold retired from Wolfe Brothers and was a member of Barberton First Church of Christ. He enjoyed going out for coffee with men from the church. Preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Annabelle Smith Sr. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Mary; stepchildren, Cheryl (Tony) Stockdale and Todd (Deanna) Ratcliff; step-grandchildren, Benjamin Stockdale and Cassandra Kuykendall.The family would like to thank Harold’s special caregivers, Claudia and Sarah and the staff at Crossroads Hospice for all of their support and compassion. Harold’s funeral service will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton with Russ Shreiner officiating.  Burial to follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
