Harold D. "Red" Jacobs

Harold D. “Red” Jacobs, 89, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023. He was born in Akron on January 11, 1934. Red and his wife, Beverly made their life in Barberton where they worked and raised their daughters and were very active in the community. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Beverly.  Red is survived by his daughters, Joni (Bruce) Safar and Julie Jacobs; grandchildren, Erin (Kyle) Ostergren, Matt and Katie Safar and Jacob (Allissa) Dolinger; great-grandchildren, Landyn Ostergren, Thomas and Clara Dolinger; brother, Charles Jacobs; special friend, Anna Clark; along with nieces, nephews and many friends.Following Red’s wishes there will be no services. He will be laid to rest next to his wife, Bev at New Marshfield Cemetery.
