Howard Samples Obituary

Howard C. Samples, 89, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 13, 2022. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Howard retired from B.F. Goodrich and the V.A. Hospital. He was a musician in local bands in the Akron area. Preceded in death by his parents and wife of 50 years, Frances and also his grandson, Robert. Howard is survived by his second wife, Jane; children, Debra (Robert), Cheryl (Dan), Richard (Debbie), Steven (Diana) and Susan (Robert); along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. Due to COVID, private services will be held. Burial to take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with military honors. A memorial service will be held for Howard at a later date.
