Hugh James "Jim" Danner

Hugh James “Jim” Danner, 78, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023. He was born in Barberton on January 9, 1945. Jim was a graduate of Norton High and the University of Akron with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts. Jim was a U.S. Army veteran during the Vietnam War. He was employed by PPG Industries for 20 years, retiring at the age of 39.  He then was employed by GE Plastics in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Preceded in death by his wife, Janet Danner; survived by his son, William (Heather) Danner; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Jim will be laid to rest with his wife, Janet at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
