Irene Hart

Irene Hart, 78, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025. She was born in Akron, Ohio on March 8, 1947 to the late Hilda and Ralph Brooke. Irene was a life resident of Barberton. She was an avid baker, reader and loved to play cards and gamble. She enjoyed crocheting and made hundreds of blankets for family and friends. Irene loved to play Solitaire and Euchre and drink coffee all day long. She and Trevor made the best fudge and pumpkin pies. She liked playing bingo, loved Christmas and watching General Hospital and the Hallmark Channel. Preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Kenny; grandson, Alex; sisters, Gloria and Connie (Danny); niece, Beth and brother-in-law, Bob. Irene is survived by her sons, Brian (Laura) and Mike; grandchildren, Trevor, Sydney, Josh and Zander; great-granddaughter, Olivia; siblings, Charlene and Mickey (Don). Irene’s funeral service will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, with Paul Howe officiating. Burial to follow at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until time of her service.
