James "Jim" J. Kun

James “Jim” J. Kun, 70, passed away Friday, September 13, 2024. He was born on March 9, 1954 in Barberton and was a graduate of Barberton High School, Class of 1972. Jim had worked for Wallace Lincoln Mercury prior to being the owner/operator of the Norton Pub for many years. Most recently Jim worked part time at Spring Hills Golf Course. Following his Dad’s footsteps he had a passion for golf and enjoyed his Sunday golf game. He truly lived and breathed the game. Preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Shirley Kun; daughter, Jessica Kun and his beloved partner, Jackie Cline. Jim is survived by his sister, Carolyn (Don) Worley; nieces, Elizabeth (Joe) Fetters and Mary Worley (Addison); along with numerous cousins, other relatives and many friends. Following Jim’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private service will take place at the convenience of the family.
