James "Jim" A. Wegmiller

James “Jim” A. Wegmiller, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. A life resident of Akron, he graduated from East High School, Class of 1988. Jim was self-employed as a truck driver hauling trailers for Horizon Trucking. He enjoyed going to drag races with his friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Catherine Wegmiller. Jim is survived by his aunts, Valerie and Linda Fleisher; several cousins and many racing friends. A time of visitation will be held for family and friends on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton, Ohio 44203.
