Jane Ann Gottwalt

Jane Ann Gottwalt, born on May 3, 1940 in Barberton, Ohio passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025, following a sad battle with cancer. A lifelong resident of Barberton, she was fortunate to surround herself with friendships that lasted her entire life. Jane enjoyed an above average golf game and afternoon card games. She was a member of the Akron City Club and the Moose Club.An enormous thank you to her amazing and helpful neighbors and friends. Preceded in death was her mother, Betty Nell Gottwalt; father, Earl Gottwalt; uncles, Roy (Edna May) Gottwalt, Robert (Margaret) Gottwalt and Arthur Moore Weller. Jane is survived by her cousins, Debra Stair, Robert Gough and Mike Gottwalt along with her “California Cousins”, Wendy Clark, Wynette Weller, Wesley Weller, Wallis Kia, Willa Weller, Wesla Weller and Wanda Weller. A private family internment will take place alongside her parents at Lakewood Cemetery. She was my cousin and I will miss her terribly and will remember her forever.
