Jane Judge

Jane Judge went home to heaven on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at age 78 after battling cancer for many years. Jane was born in Barberton on January 1, 1947, graduated from BHS in 1965, and was a lifelong resident of the area. She graduated from the University of Akron and had a long career as a registered nurse specializing in oncology at Akron General and Barberton Citizens hospitals. Later she joined Advertising Ideas, the company owned by her husband, Terry. They traveled and worked closely together through the company’s high growth years. Jane was a long-time member of Johnson United Methodist Church where she participated in several ministries and had many friends. Jane was married to Terry Judge for 41 years until his passing in 2008. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Ken and Katy Mackenzie, her brother, Ken Jr. and sister, Rebecca. Jane leaves behind her loving children, John (Jill) Judge, Karen (Ed) Biggers, and Christopher (Laura) Judge; grandchildren, Isabella, Sophia (Alex) and Jack Judge, Brennan Biggers, Andrew and Henry Judge; brother, Peter (Mary) Mackenzie; several nieces and a nephew.  Jane’s funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Johnson United Methodist Church, 3409 Johnson Road, Norton, Ohio 44203 with Rev. Dr. Steven R. Bailey officiating. Visitation will precede the funeral from 11 a.m. until the time of her service at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Barberton Area Community Ministries.
