Jane A. Strelbicki, 90, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 4, 2024. She was born on July 16, 1933 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. Jane was a graduate of Barberton High School. She moved to Clinton/New Franklin and lived there for 46 years. Jane retired as a secretary/bookkeeper from PPG Industries in Twinsburg, Ohio. Known as the inside grandma where grandkids could build forts out of cushions and blankets and steal cookies from the cookie jar when she wasn’t looking. Preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Dorothy Brown; husband, Paul Strelbicki and brother, John D. Brown. Jane is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Edwin) Schaufele and Denise (Terry) Marich; stepsons, Paul and Scott Strelbicki; grandchildren, Shawn (Kelly) Yerian, Kristy (Christopher) Piekarski, Adam (Heather) Marich and Catherine (Daniel) Parker; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Andrew and Elania Piekarski; Katie and Ryan Yerian; Braxtyn, Mylan and Axyl Marich; Sophia Collard, Lyla Parker and Klaye Spencer; great-great-grandson, Waylyn Spencer; sisters-in-law, Annetta Brown and Helen Strelbicki; plus many nephews and nieces. Jane’s funeral service will be held Monday, July 8, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton with Rev. Rod Grabski officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of her service. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
