Jeffrey "Jeff" Olney

Jeffrey “Jeff’ Olney, 63, of Barberton passed away at home after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, August 23, 2025. Born in Wadsworth on October 31, 1961, Jeff is preceded in death by his brother, Don Olney Jr. and his parents Donald and Martha. He leaves behind his loving wife Darcina of 33 years, children, Dustee (Chad) and Troy, and grandchildren Brittany, Jaret, Adrian, Mikayla and Jada - as well many other relatives and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly. As an avid golfer, Jeff enjoyed his weekly outings at Chippewa Golf Course. He was a devoted Cleveland sports fan, and also liked to spend time tending to his tomato and pepper garden or relaxing in the pool. Jeff was a friendly neighbor, supportive to his family, and loved to make people laugh. Jeff’s family will receive friends and loved ones on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 4 to 6 p.m. with memories being shared starting at 5:30 p.m. at Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton, Ohio 44203. The family welcome visitors to wear their favorite “Ohio” sports attire in honor of Jeff.
