Jeffrey "Jeff" John Grof

Jeffrey “Jeff” John Grof, a proud native of Barberton, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at the age of 60. Jeff was born on September 19, 1963 to Jim and the late Jacqueline Grof.  He was devoted father, avid sports enthusiast, and admirer of history and space. Jeff’s passion for sports, particularly as a loyal Bengals fan and Ohio sports lover, brought him joy over the years.  Among his many interests, Jeff had a deep appreciation for history, space, and astronomy, always eager to engage in discussions and learn more about these topics. Jeff also felt a sense of fulfillment in meticulously mowing his lawn and hand-washing his car until it sparkled. Those who knew Jeff well also knew of his loved for good food, especially enjoying a delicious steak and mashed potatoes meal, as well as savoring the delectable offerings from Barberton’s famous chicken houses. Above all, Jeff’s greatest source of pride and joy was his daughter, Ashley, whom he loved unconditionally. His warmth, humor and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who cherished him. There will be no services. Cremation has taken place.
