Jennifer Leigh Brown, of Barberton, Ohio born June 28th, 1981 - March 20th, 2026. It is impossible to fully capture the essence of Jennifer, for she was a woman of many layers and deep contradictions. She was a mother, a daughter, a sister, and a friend; she was an empath, a confidant, and at her core, a beautifully silly soul. Jennifer possessed a sense of wonder and a way of seeing the world that was truly unrivaled. She was tough, clever, and remarkably full of life, maintaining her beauty and spirit even during the times when life was not kind to her. Though her days were not always easy, her heart remained an endless reservoir of love.
Jennifer defined the meaning of selfless kindness. She was the type of woman who would carefully carry a bug outside rather than harm it, and she would always ensure your coffee was made before tending to her own. Her home was a sanctuary, open to anyone in search of comfort. In the most genuine sense, she would give the shirt off her back or her last dime to anyone she felt was in need. She lived to love, and while her heart was vast, it often seemed it wasn’t quite big enough to hold all the love she had to give.
To those who knew her well, Jennifer seemed to view the world through a lens of magic, and in many ways, she was magic herself. While the world feels a bit dimmer in her absence, her family finds comfort in knowing that her light lives on through the lives she touched and the lessons of compassion she left behind.
Jennifer is survived by her five children: Paige, Owen, Payton, Joad, and Grace. She is also survived by her mother, Barbara. Her children carry the promise to live their lives fueled by her magic and the deep love she gave so freely.
The family will be hosting a private celebration of life to honor her memory and the unique spirit she brought into this world.
