Jerry R. Workman

Jerry R. Workman, 77, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. He was born in Barberton on July 26, 1946. Jerry was a graduate of Barberton High School, Class of 1965. He retired from General Motors with 30 ½ years of service. Jerry was past member of Kill-um-Buck Long Rifles and was a Ham Radio Operator, KB3FNN. Preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Mae Workman; brothers, James and Leonard Workman and sister, Grace Darnell. Jerry is survived by the mother of his children, Patricia Workman; son, Jerry (Susan) Workman; Rebecca (Mitchell) Lacefield, Brian (Loretta) Workman, Ken Workman and Kim (Aaron) DeLisle; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends. Jerry’s funeral service will be held Monday, February 12, 2024 at 2 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton with Rev. Rod Grabski officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of his service.
