Jim Richard Neely

Jim Richard Neely was born on February 7, 1949 to the late Jim C. Neely and Mozell (Hensley) Neely and passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 12, 2023. He was a kind son and brother. A lifelong resident of Summit and Wayne counties. He graduated from Coventry High School and worked in manufacturing. Jim loved his motorcycles, fishing and music. He enjoyed playing several instruments well. He loved his family and his books. His Bible being a frequent companion. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Roger Neely and Dwayne Neely and his great-nephew, Ethan Eschman. Jim is survived by his sister, Helen (Larry) Meszaros; nieces, Sarah (Ed) Eschman and Charity (Scott) Conrad; nephew, David (Julie) Neely as well as great-nephews and great-nieces, Christian Conrad, Lili Conrad, Tori Neely, Michael Neely and Elliott Eschman. Gratitude and appreciation is extended to Shady Lawn Health Care and all who cared for Jim over the years in assisted-living as well as the nursing home there. Thank you for the many kindnesses. Thank you to everyone from Ohio Hospice Life Care who provided their time, valuable support and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A family gathering will be graveside Greenlawn Memorial Park.
