Joan Paro

Joan Paro, 90, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2025. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 5, 1935 and was a resident of Barberton for most of her life. She was a U.S. Airforce veteran and retired from B.F. Goodrich. Joan was an accomplished seamstress and designer of wedding dresses for many in the Barberton area. She wrote a column for the Barberton Herald for the residents of the west side. Joan is survived by her daughter, Elaine (Greg) Milanich and dear friend, JoAnn Wallbrown. A graveside service will be held for Joan on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 3 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
