Joanne H. (Gasho) Parker Ball

Joanne H. (Gasho) Parker Ball, 88, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 3rd, 2024 while surrounded by her family in her home. Born in Wadsworth, Ohio in September of 1935, she was a life resident of Barberton, Woodsfield and Copley, Ohio. She retired from Miller Examining at the age of 83. Joanne loved taking care of others and her many family members, especially preparing her Serbian dishes for all to enjoy. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Ivkov Briston; father, Joseph Gasho; brother-in-law Jim Ellis; nephew, Mark Ellis and grandson Jordan Darnell. She leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Eileen Ellis, her children, Pam Parker, Candy Rasicci (John), Becky Bolte, Joe Parker (Taryn), Tish Miller (Nate); twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; nephew, Brian Ellis and cousin, Mike McNamara. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, June 15th, 2024 at 11 am at Saint Andrew, the Apostle Catholic Church, 4022 Johnson Road, Norton, Ohio 44203. A reception will be held afterwards in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
