Obituary
John David Collins Jr. “David”, 78, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023. He was born March 15, 1944 in Fairmont, West Virginia. David was preceded in death by his mother, Laura M. Collins; father, John D. Collins Sr.; brothers, Charles “Chuck” Collins, Thomas Machamer, John A. Collins and sisters, Mary Lilian Thomas, Mauddette M. Troyer and Evelyn E. Rhodes. He is survived by brothers, James E. (Paula) Collins of Barberton, Ohio, Robert B. Collins of Hinton, West Virginia and George M. (Jan) Collins of Palm Harbor, Florida and sister, Laura A C Ryan of Lake Wales, Florida; as well as many other family members and friends. Following David’s cremation, he will be transported to Sebring, Florida to be laid to rest in a mausoleum at Lakeview Cemetery with his mother and father. A memorial service will be held at Lakeview Christian Church, Akron, Ohio, to be determined at a later date. “Brother, David we love you and we will miss you, you are free from pain and having a heavenly celebration with Mom and Dad and the rest of our family. Fly high dear brother and we will see you again.”
