Kathleen "Kathy" Bochard

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our cherished mother, Kathleen Bochard, who left this world peacefully on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at the age of 72. Kathy was a pillar of strength, kindness, and unwavering love. Born on July 4, 1952 in Barberton, Ohio, she dedicated her life to her family and to nurturing those around her. Her warmth was felt by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her, and her gentle spirit left an indelible mark on countless lives. Preceded in death are her loving parents, Stephen and Helen Nahacky, husband Frank Bochard, and loving son, Frankie Bochard. She was a devoted mother to Stephanie Bochard, Melissa (Steven) Coven, and Julie (Bert) Ambrose and a beloved grandmother to Mattie, Ellie, Livi, Ava, Drew, Emma, Cora and Granger; brother, Bob Nahacky and sister, Chris Walker. She approached motherhood with grace, patience, and an unshakable commitment, always placing the needs of her children above her own. Her laughter filled our home, and her wisdom guided us through life’s challenges. Beyond her role as a mother, Kathy was known for always lending a helping hand, to anyone in need. She dedicated her life to helping others, and furthermore in her nursing career. Her life was a testament to compassion, resilience, and quiet strength.Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in the legacy of love and memories she leaves behind. She will be missed beyond words but remembered always. Visiting hours will be Friday, May 16, 2025 from 4:30 pm-6:30 pm with a short service following at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton, Ohio 44203. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend and celebrate her life.
