Keith A. Brown

Keith A. Brown, 68, beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022 in Barberton, Ohio after a brief illness. Keith was born in Akron on May 7, 1954 and spent his whole life in the area, graduating from Kenmore High School as a standout athlete in 1972. He worked at Acme Fresh Markets for over 40 years, where his imprint on the community will long outlive his physical form. Keith loved playing golf, cheering for Cleveland sports, the OSU Buckeyes, and most of all spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Betty Brown and brother, Lee Brown. He will be deeply missed by his children, Adam, Aaron (Kelly), Dana (Adam) and Rachel (Joe); grandchildren, Cerys, Miles and Iris; sisters, Jan (Louis) Bamonte, Claudia Brown and Carla (Keith) Gross; including his many nieces, nephews and friends. Per his wishes, a private memorial will be held with family only. In Keith’s honor, donations may be made to Toys for Tots or the American Red Cross.
