Larry L. Beam, 76, went home to be with the Lord of Tuesday, May 27, 2025. He was a life resident of Barberton. Larry graduated from Barberton High School, Class of 1967 and was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He retired as owner/operator of Beam Construction after 35 years of service. Larry was a member of Wintergreen Ledges Church of God for over 45 years, where he served as a board member, usher, youth group leader and Sunday school teacher. He was an avid Ohio sports fan. His love for corvettes started at the age of 17 and continued throughout his life. Preceded in death by his parents, Albert and June Beam and brother, Glenn Beam. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Donna; son, Jason (Nikki) Beam; daughter, Sharon (Matt) Dickey; grandchildren, Dylan (Uyen) Beam, Rachel (Luke) Irwin and Wyatt Beam; great-granddaughters, Jahlia and Zoey; brother-in-law, Bill (Karen) Huber; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Larry’s funeral service will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 1 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton, Ohio 44203 with Pastor Josh McConnell officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of his service at 1 p.m. Burial will take place with military honors at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
