Lawrence "Larry" E. Baughman

Lawrence “Larry” E. Baughman, 66, of Barberton, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. Larry was born on November 24, 1957, to Lauren and Edith Baughman in Barberton, Ohio. He was a graduate of Manchester High School, Class of 1976. His many years of service at W.G. Lockhart as an Operating Engineer, allowing him to retire and spend time frequently visiting local establishments, spending time with friends and watching baseball, football, and racing. Larry is survived by his son, Brian (Jennifer) Baughman; daughters, Stephanie (Anthony) Sarter and Lindsey (Samuel) Alsbaugh; grandchildren, Brandon Baughman, Hailey and Lauren Alsbaugh and Ethan, Rylee and Jacob Baughman; sister, Debbie (Keith) Snyder; brother, Doug Baughman; and countless kind, loving and caring family members. His departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and it is gravely felt by his entire family and countless others who loved him deeply within his community. A celebration of life will be held at Portage Lakes Eagles, 5899 Manchester Road, New Franklin, Ohio 44319 on Sunday, March 24, 2024, from 2pm to 4pm.
