Leonard J. Sacher

Leonard J. Sacher, 83, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 27, 1940 and grew up in Sharon Center. Leonard was a resident of Barberton for 62 years. He retired from the Operatoring Engineers Local #18 with 42 years of service. Leonard loved riding his Harley Davidson with his friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Elizabeth; brothers, Butch, George, Walter and Johnny Sacher and sister, Marie Hall. Leonard is survived by his wife of 62 years, Donna Faye Sacher (nee Croft); sons, Keith Sacher and Mike (Carol) Sacher; grandchildren, Matthew, Kyle, Ryan, Shane and Ethan; niece, Alice Morris; along with other relatives and friends. Leonard’s funeral service will be held Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 12 Noon at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to his service.
