Linda Kay Moyers, 82, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026. She was a life resident of the Akron area. Linda was a graduate of Manchester High School, and was a member of AA, being sober for 44 years and enjoyed working in the gift shop at Dr. Bob’s house. Linda cherished spending time with her daughters, family and friends and would happily win a game of Scrabble with anyone who would play. Preceded in death by sisters, Barbara Rey and Carol Headricks and granddaughter, Maggie Gale. Linda is survived by her daughters, Susan Gale and Melissa Futrell; grandchildren, Jeremey, Christian, Eevey and Charlie; great grandchildren Liam and Magnolia; sister, Jackie Fulton; brother, Michael Miller; along with other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Linda’s daughters would like to thank their cousins, Keith Rey and Art and Tami Gosen as well as her care team from Reserve Care Hospice for all the love and care that they provided. Linda’s family will receive friends on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Akron Children’s Hospital or the Barberton Public Library.
