Linda Stanich

Linda Stanich, 71, passed from this life on Thursday, May 2, 2024 after a long battle with declining health. She was born and lived her life in Barberton, graduating from Barberton High School, Class of 1970 and the University of Akron. Linda loved cooking, flowers, babies, Elvis and her family. Preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Martha Stanich; brother, Ron and sister, Stephanie. Linda is survived by her children, Tim (Callee) Weyrick, Amy Zeleznik and Tony (Jacci) Weyrick; beloved grandchildren, Olivia, Ben, Aaron, Aaden, Aubrey and Savanna; brother, Kevin (Stacey); sister, Sharon; nephews, Mark (Jackie) Owen, David Chirumbole, Kyle Stanich and Connor Stanich; nieces, Sarah (Jason) King, Lori (Brian) Young, Sophia Chirumbole and Hannah Stanich; along with many extended family. Our comfort is knowing you are now safe with Jesus. “I know you are standing in the sun, you’ve fought your fight, your race is run-the pain is all a million miles away”. Linda’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 2 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton with Pastor Bob Combs officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of her service. Interment of ashes immediately following at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
