Louis P. Strebic, 68, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 7, 2018.He is reunited in Heaven with his parents, Sam and Bridget Strebic and his beloved sister, Rosemarie;Louie is survived by his children, Jennifer Keenan (Ryan Williams), Jessica (Jeff) Meighen and Christopher (Brittney) Strebic; grandchildren, Jaden and Jace Keenan, Declan Williams, Kallan Rose Meighen and grand-dog, Mulligan, who were his greatest treasures in life.He also leaves behind numerous cousins who were like siblings to him and his precious Aunt Lucy.Louie was born and raised in Barberton, Ohio and was a long-time resident of the Portage Lakes and was a graduate of Barberton High School, Class of 1968.He was a devoted son, brother, father, cousin, friend and most of all, Papa. He was a friend to everyone he met with his very contagious smile.His charisma and quick-witted personality was what everyone loved most about him.There was nothing in the world he cherished more than his children and grandchildren.They will never forget his “Papa” sayings, his famous move, “pulling a Louie”, and his unconditional love that he was never afraid to show. He was an avid hometown sports fan, supporting Cleveland and Ohio State his entire life.Funeral service will be held Friday, October 12th at 1 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 with Rev. Jack Kozak officiating.Burial will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Louie’s family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Cancer Society in memory of Rosemarie Strebic.For Louie, one last time…PUT ZWICK IN!
