Lucinda "Cindy" Ellen (Wright) Dorsey

Lucinda “Cindy” Ellen (Wright) Dorsey, 71, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024. She was born on April 13, 1953 to the late David and Betty Wright. In 1969, Cindy married the love of her life, Bill and over the years had four children: Billy (Heather), Donny (Jeri), Adam and Amanda. She was also a loving mother figure to Lisa (Dave), Tony (Yvonne) and Davey (Amanda); brother, Tom (Donna). Her grandchildren, Carter, Sarah, Ryan, Sam (Dallas), Landon, Whitney and Madison; sister-in-law, Karen (Willie); brother-in-law, Bob and numerous family and friends, too many to list.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy; sister, Becky; brother, Dave; nephew, Tommy and niece, Betty Anne. Cindy loved spending time with her family and friends; playing bingo every Thursday night, vacationing in the warm weather and shopping on Amazon and Temu. She was a force of nature. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton from 4 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. with a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. with Willis Bentley officiating. A Celebration of Cindy’s Life will follow at the Barberton Moose, 272 31st Street, N.W., Barberton 44203. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Barberton Salvation Army, 560 Wooster Road, W., Barberton, Ohio 44203 in memory of Cindy.
