Margaret Rayna Jurmanovich, 85, of Barberton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026.
Margaret was born on February 5, 1941, in Erie, Pennsylvania to James Karl and Ruth Shaffer. She carried with her throughout life the strength, resilience, and warmth that defined her early years.
Margaret was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She found her greatest joy in her family and cherished the time spent together, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping and, of course, had a special love for shoes — something those closest to her will always smile about. Her strength, steady presence, and caring heart will be remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by one daughter, one sister, two brothers, six grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, eight siblings, two children, and one granddaughter.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt and special thank you to her granddaughter, Jenna, for the loving care she provided over the past four years. Because of Jenna’s dedication and compassion, Margaret was able to remain in the comfort of her home for the remainder of her life — a gift beyond measure.
Visitation will be held at Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton, Ohio 44203 on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Information regarding the casual gathering to follow will be provided at a later date.
Margaret’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
