Marjorie E. Boatright, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 7, 2023. She was a resident of Akron/Barberton since 1950 and a longtime member of Hope United Methodist Church. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mamie Sands; husband, Howard Boatright; son, Tod Boatright; grandson, Ryan Boatright; seven brothers and one sister. Survived by her sons, Douglas (Karen) and Curt Boatright; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends. Marjorie’s funeral service will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 10 a.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton with Pastor John Tsironis officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m.
