On Sunday February 11, 2024 Mary Ann Haller went running through the Gates of Heaven into the arms of her favorite Chihuahua, “Molly Goo”! Mary Ann was born on February 10, 1953 in Barberton, Ohio. She was a graduate of Green High School, Class of 1972. Mary Ann opened up and ran a day care center. Preceded in death by her son, Ted Eric Dawson; parents, Tillie and Orville West; brother, Ted (Sue) McMillen; niece, Michele Graves; nephew, Martin Alvord and sister-in-law, Michelle Alvord. Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Matthew; daughters, Joy Dawson and Bobbi Ann Gohlke; grandchildren, Joshua Hart and Autumn Dawson; sisters, Avis (Tom) Watts and Karen (Mike) Scott; brother, Dale “Wally” (Cindy) McMillen; sister-in-law, Renee (Bill) Schondel; brother-in-law, Barry Alvord (Patty) and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial mass for Mary Ann will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Barberton with Fr. Robert Jackson officiating. Burial will take place at River Styx Cemetery at a later date.
