Michael "Mike" R. Starcher

Michael “Mike” R. Starcher, 69, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023. He was a life resident of Barberton, a graduate of Barberton High School, Class of 1973 and was a U.S. Navy veteran.  Mike loved music especially rock and roll and playing guitar most of his life.  He played in two different bands and also wrote music. Preceded in death by his father, Buster Starcher. Mike is survived by his mother, Dessel Starcher; sisters, Loretta (Tim) Gainer and Terrie (Mitch) Shaffer; one niece, two nephews and many friends. Following Mike’s wishes there will be no services. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment with military honors will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
