Oakley R. "Richard" Harrison

Oakley R. “Richard” Harrison, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 29, 2021. He loved fishing and football and attended Marlboro Assembly of God. Preceded in death by his parents, Ballard Oakley and Mary Katherine Harrison; siblings, Gains Harrison, Beecher Harrison, Louise Hayden, Betsy Eastridge, Nannie Ellen Burkhart.  Richard is survived by his children, Richard (Jennifer) Harrison of Bristol, VA., Donetta (Marvin) Troyer of Millersburg, OH, Cathy Harrison of Abingdon, VA, Nancy (Daryl) Surber of Bristol, VA, Deborah Harrison of Bristol, TN, William (Joyce) Hinson of Virginia Beach, VA and Ken (Sue) Mullett of Parma, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; special friends, Cheryl Shellbrack and Jackie Moles; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Richard’s memorial service will be held Thursday, April 1st at 6 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 with Rev. Rod Grabski officiating. he family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until time of service.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to LifeCare Hospice of Wooster or the American Cancer Society. Due to current circumstances masks are REQUIRED and social distancing will be observed.
